Michael Berry

Project Manager

Job Description:

I would describe my job as problem solving. Each day presents new challenges that require a different solution.

Background & Experience:

I have learned everything I know about construction from working here at TIS. I started as a labor and then became a foreman. After being a foreman for a good amount of time I became a PM. In my opinion I have learned as much if not more than any school could teach me by learning as I go.

How do you help TIS stay true to its mission:

“A team approach ensures a successful project”?The same way it takes a village to raise a child. It takes a good team to have a smooth successful project.

What is your favorite part about your job?

There are a few things that I really enjoy about my job. One of my favorite parts about the job is the constant learning and discovering new ways to solve new problems. Another is working within a team environment.

How long have you been with TIS? I have been with TIS since 2003.

What are your best skillsets that you bring to your job?

I honestly believe my best skill set is that I refuse to fail.

List any professional goals, accomplishments, favorite projects you contributed to & why, etc.

My current goal is to be a better PM than I was last year and next year’s goal will be to be a better PM than I am this year.
